Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur – The Pink City
Arrive in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Check into your hotel and relax. Begin your royal tour with a visit to the City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, followed by Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory. Stop by the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photos. In the evening, explore local markets like Johari Bazaar or enjoy a cultural dinner at Chokhi Dhani (optional). Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing – Forts and Royal Glory
After breakfast, head out to explore Amber Fort, set on a hilltop and known for its Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Enjoy an optional elephant ride or jeep ride to the fort. Later, visit Jaigarh Fort, home to the world’s largest cannon, and Nahargarh Fort, offering panoramic views of the city. Spend your evening shopping or relaxing. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur to Jodhpur
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the Clock Tower Market and explore the old city streets. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 4: Jodhpur Sightseeing – The Blue City Charm
Start your day by visiting the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most impressive forts in India. Explore its palaces, galleries, and panoramic views. Then visit the Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Later, explore Umaid Bhawan Palace, part museum and part royal residence. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 5: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
After breakfast, leave for Jaisalmer, the famous Golden City. On arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the beautiful Gadisar Lake or stroll around the local bazaars. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 6: Jaisalmer Fort & Desert Camp Experience
In the morning, explore the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort, the only living fort in India with houses, temples, and shops inside. Visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, known for their intricate architecture. In the afternoon, drive to Sam Sand Dunes for a camel safari and enjoy a traditional Rajasthani folk dance performance with dinner at a desert camp. Overnight stay at a desert camp.
Day 7: Jaisalmer to Udaipur or Departure
After breakfast, you can either drive or take a train/flight to Udaipur (optional extension), or return to Jaipur/Jodhpur for your onward journey. If extending the trip to Udaipur, spend another 1–2 days enjoying the Lake City and its royal charm.
