Days 3 - Nights 2

 

Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Lakeside Leisure and Sunset Boat Ride

Arrive in Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” and check in to your hotel or romantic lakeside resort. After a short rest, begin your exploration with a visit to the serene Fateh Sagar Lake. Next, stop at Saheliyon-ki-Bari, a beautiful garden built for royal ladies, featuring marble fountains and lotus pools. In the evening, head to Lake Pichola for a romantic boat ride. Glide past the magnificent Jag Mandir and the stunning Lake Palace (Taj), which appears to float on the lake’s surface. End the evening with a candlelight dinner at a lakeside restaurant. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing – Royal Palaces and Culture

After breakfast, visit the majestic City Palace, one of the largest royal complexes in Rajasthan, offering panoramic views of the lake and city. Explore its courtyards, art galleries, and royal chambers. Then, visit the Crystal Gallery or Jagdish Temple, known for its beautiful Indo-Aryan architecture. In the afternoon, explore the traditional Bagore Ki Haveli, where you can see royal costumes, artifacts, and an optional folk dance performance in the evening. Spend the evening strolling through local markets for handmade souvenirs and Rajasthani textiles. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3: Optional Mount Abu Excursion or Departure

After breakfast, you have two options: either relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast with lake views, or take an optional full-day excursion to Mount Abu (approximately 3 hours away), Rajasthan’s only hill station. There, visit the beautiful Dilwara Jain Temples, Nakki Lake, and enjoy cool mountain air. If not going to Mount Abu, check out from your hotel and head to the Udaipur airport or railway station for your onward journey.
