Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Leh :
On arrival at Leh airport meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Remainder of the day will be for rest, to acclimatize Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 mtrs approximately from 200 Mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization Visit Leh Palace, Hall of fame & Shanti Stupa later during the afternoon don’t exert your body, if you are feeling tired at any time during the day. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeens :
After breakfast leave for Sangam of two Rivers which are zansker & Indus , Magnetic Hill ,Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Hall of Fame museum. You can enjoy your mid-day meal at somewhere as per your convenient. In the evening back to Leh in your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Leh Hotel.
Day 3: Leh –Nubra Valley (5-6 hrs) :
After Breakfast, move towards the Highest Motorable Road of The World, Khardungla Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley Enroute River Rafting & visit to Diskit Monastery. Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride don’t forget to click this unique mammal found in the cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk routes. Overnight at Hunder/Nubra Camps
Day 4: Hunder-Turtuk-Hunder :
After Breakfast Leave For Turtuk .Turtuk is The Last Village On The Indian Side of the Border and was taken by the indian army during kargil war you will be mesmerised by the beauty in simplicity of turtuk and its people .Return to Hunder Overnight stay at Your Camp.
Day 5: Nubra valley-Pangong Lake :
After an early breakfast we check out from Camp or hotel and drive towards Hunder where you have the opportunity to ride on a Bactarian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high-altitude desert with snow-capped mountains on the horizon. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Later we drove towards Pangong Tso via Agham & Shyok Valley. Some of the road patches in areas are extremely tough (towards Nubra side) in terms of road conditions but no doubt the journey is very scenic! Later after crossing this adventurous part we drive further towards Durbuk & Tangtse for Pangong you pass through a few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). Upon arrival we check in at our Camp/Hotel Near Pangong lake (Spangmik Village). Dinner & Overnight at the tent
Day 6: Pangong - Leh :
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake and later we drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs En route visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. And further to Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School. Drive further to Leh. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel
Day 7: Leh Airport Departure/Drop :
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with Good memories.
